The individual needs of each student are emphasized with continuous focus on proper technique and creative expression.

Students are placed in a level of instruction based on both their achievement and ability.

Performance opportunities include Ohio Dance Theatre's Youth Ensemble and ODT's annual production of The Nutcracker, as well as other story ballets and outreach programs throughout the year.
The young student has the greatest potential for developing technical strengths, musicality and artistic awareness. The School of ODT's varied curriculum and progression of levels allows for the development of a strong, versatile dancer.

ODT Curriculum includes Ballet Technique, Pointe, Variations, Modern Dance, Jazz Dance, Stretch and Conditioning and PIlates based fitness classes.

Special programs for the serious student includes Pre-professsional Divisions, Intensive and ODT Youth Ensemble.
