Hannah Hammel, from Richmond, VA, trained and performed in ballet, modern, jazz, character dance, and musical theater at The School of Richmond Ballet under teachers including Malcolm Burn, Arnott Mador, Julie Fauth Job, Tara Penick, Starr Foster, Willie Hinton, Jasmine Grace, and Judy Jacob. She attended their summer intensive each year and also attended summer intensives at Florida State University under Suzanne Farrell and Gerri Houlihan and the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under Marcia Dale Weary. She is enjoying continuing her training at Ohio Dance Theatre while a freshman flute performance major at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.
