Regina Pietraroia grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and her early dance training began at Tracy Vedda Studio. She continued to study ballet at Butler University in Indianapolis. Throughout college, Regina performed with the North Coast Dance Collective (under the direction of Pamela Langevin and Kay Eichmann), appearing in many roles in The Nutcracker, Cleveland’s Jazz Fest, and on area television broadcasts. After college, she lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she continued to train in modern, ballet, and pointe at renowned studios such as Shawl Anderson and the Berkeley Ballet Theatre (where she was also a faculty member). Additionally, Regina has taken workshops and master classes around the country, including at Chicago’s Joffrey School and Steps on Broadway in New York. She has taught ballet for The University of Akron, the American College Dance Festival, and many private studios in Ohio and California.
