Kyle Primous is a graduate of Kenyon College, was a founding member of Ohio Dance Theatre performing with the company for four years and has been a faculty member since the inception of the Company in 1992. He has also performed with Pittsburgh’s Dance Alloy, Footpath Dance Company, at Jacob’s Pillow, on the Drew Carey Show, and is presently on faculty at Lorain County Community College. Mr. Primous’ choreography includes: The world premiere of Full Moon, Steelbound, The Odyssey, The Little Tommy Parker Celebrated Colored Minstrel Show, Treemonisha and Famous Orpheus. His stage credits include: Parade, Ohio Dance Theatre’s Journey, Full Moon, The Hostage, truth: The Testimonial of Sojourner Truth, I Could Stop on a Dime and Get Ten Cents Change and Mule Bone. As a vocalist, Kyle’s four-octave range has been heard with Cleveland Opera, throughout the Caribbean. Mr. Primous is lead singer for Special Blend.
